With the hot Lisbon weather, we made the grill in our garden, enjoying our Portuguese Super Bock beer cereveja, and later indulged in lunch. In my previous post, I mentioned the bell peppers salad. Well, here it is.
This salad is so delicious with the smoked flavour. The secret is to roast your bell peppers. You can find the recipe below.
Bell Peppers Salad
Ingredients
- A bowl of cold water
- 1 large green bell pepper
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 1 medium-sized cucumber
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 small tomato
- Lettuce (optional)
- Vinagrette
Directions
- Step 1 On your stove top or grill, roast the bell peppers till they wilt. Quickly toss the roasted peppers in the bowl of cold water, wash-peel the burnt skin of the peppers and wash off the seeds.
- Step 2 Slice these peppers and the rest of your ingredients and plate your salad. Pour the vinagrette over salad and enjoy!
