Hi, I’m Oby, and you’re so welcome here.
I call Cascais, Portugal, home, where I live with my husband, our three wonderful children, and our cat and dog, Khloe and Pipoka.
I’m the founder of Simply Oby Cakes & Treats and Simply Oby Food Experience (SOFE). I love creating beautiful cakes, sharing authentic Nigerian cuisine, and bringing people together through food.
As a Nigerian woman married to a Portuguese man, I enjoy sharing the beauty, humour, and richness of both cultures through recipes, travel, homemaking, and everyday family life.

My Story
My journey began in Nigeria before life brought me to Portugal. What started as a passion for baking soon became Simply Oby Cakes & TreatsSimply Oby Cakes & Treats—a business built on creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of celebrating life’s milestones.
As my love for sharing Nigerian culture grew, so did my dream of introducing authentic Nigerian cuisine to Portugal. That dream became Simply Oby Food Experience (SOFE), where every meal tells a story of home, heritage, and hospitality.
Today, Simply Oby is more than a business—it’s a place where cakes, food, travel, family, and culture come together.
